This information will be disclosed only when necessary to the following parties: 

- Accountants working on behalf of Guidepost Marketing Ltd for the purposes of processing payments and managing the finances on behalf of Guidepost Marketing Ltd

- Sub contractors working on behalf of Guidepost Marketing Ltd soley for the purposes of conducting business as required

-  Advertising services- for the purpose of marketing the business's services in the future. This might be for example targeted advertising via LinkedIn or other social media or digital marketing channels using information such as company name and job title

- Marketing services providers such as a Customer Relationship Management systems provider (CRM) and associated email marketing software companies using information such as Name, email and Company name for the purposes of sending related information or email newsletters on behalf of Guidepost Marketing Ltd 

- Trusted IT companies including information such as name, company name, nature of relationship, email address etc. for the purposes of correctly securing that data and providing adequate cybersecurity and related IT management services to Guidepost Marketing Ltd.

How will the data be stored and secured (including security practices)?

The security and protection of personal data is of the highest importance and concern to Guidepost Marketing Ltd. We have in place all generally accepted standards of technology and operational security in order to protect personal data processed by us from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction and to ensure compliance with the requirements of all applicable data protection and privacy legislation.

Tools used to store data include: Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Sharepoint, Teams) where data is stored on servers based in the United Kingdom and Cloud backup software where data is stored in either the United Kingdom or in the European Union.

Notwithstanding the arrangements set out above, unfortunately the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Once we have received information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

Changes to and retention of the data

You are able to make changes to your data by contacting us at contact@guidepostmarketing.co.uk and should do so in the following circumstances such as a legal change in name or address/ phone number, change in job title or company.

Personal data is stored and retained for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was processed.

We may nevertheless retain your personal data where such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject to, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.

Chatbot technology/A.I. is used for providing contact support on the website as well as copywriting support to produce a suitable quote from inputted information.
